A sunny but cold tree-hug this morning. My new friend, a mature three-trunked tree - which I'd like to call a tree-o (trio) - growing along the edge of an old rock wall. It was a peaceful spot to rest for a while. I was surprised to see this rock wedged in place, a permanent part of the tree's body. Perhaps placed there years ago when the stonewall was being built and forgotten about. Up above a proud tree-goddess displayed her confidence and natural beauty. While this small tree-being called out to me from his secure bark-home.. A closeup view of a nearby fallen tree-hollow revealed an unexpected world of magical orbs and crystals. Message: Be safe. Rest within the stillness, peace and security of your boundaries. Listen for the still small voice. Enjoy the magic. Peace

It was a cold drizzly tree-hug for me this morning. But just another day in the woods for this tree-family. A weathered Easter Island trunk-being gazed out stoically. While other family members posed with a friendly tree-neighbor. A watchful tree-being, with a glint in his eye, made sure I noticed him with the help of some rustling oak leaves. And of course the whole family wanted to pose again to show their love and unity. Nearby a family of tree-fungi reminded me of the cycle of life and death. Message: As we live through difficult times stand tall and embrace the gift of family and friends in your life. We grow through our struggles, deepening our understanding of what is important, watching the cycles of life. Peace Shapely tree-legs reached for the sky and were cleansed by the rain.
A friendly tree-hug this morning. With a ragged looking tree-he-man Quite comfortable with himself and his unusual outerwear. Peeking out from her secret hiding place a shy bark-being looked surprised when I saw her. A less shy long nosed bark-being smiled wryly at me with a side eye. A delicate bark-medallion emerged, remnant of an old wound. So many different qualities expressed in this unique bark-world. Message: Take pride in your strength and uniqueness. You can be shy and wise, and silly and wounded. It is your whole self that is the blessing of who you are. Peace
A thought provoking tree-hug this morning. A mighty towering giant of a tree touched the sky. While cleaved at its base. I am amazed and wonder how it can be. A wise tree-spirit well aware of the challenge responded 'resolute determination and intent.' Along with the assistance of some woodland angels. Message: Defy the odds. Balance. Harmony. Light.
A rather amazing tree-hug this morning. Towering tree-guardians stood at attention. A patient trunk-being kept a watchful eye out. A gnarly bark-dog snuggled with his old rock-friends. Ancient wise tree-spirits gathered close to the earth. A wizened root-armed being protectively cradled its late growing fern-neighbor. Message: Great wisdom is all around us. Knowing deeply rooted in time much vaster than our lifetimes. It nurtures, guides and protects. As it is within our tree-friends so it is within us. If we choose to listen. Peace And still another rather curious bark-creature peeked out to see who was visiting.
A special tree-hug this morning. After the rain the bark, the moss, and the rushing stream nearby seemed cleansed and richly alive. The vibrant colors, a welcome to the sun's return. Even gray shone. A special beauty in the healing bark. Message: Give yourself the gift of being present. Welcome the cleansing rain. Rejoice in the return of light. Appreciate the beauty within healing. Peace
