Tree-Hug on September 5

Yesterday we saw more deep erosion from Ida's rain on another part of the road.

Back on the trail I came upon a lovely long-necked tree-creature adorned in bright leaf-sprouts.

With an O tree-mouth.

It was an interesting example of tree-healing.

Looking up the lenticel line-code encircling the trunk told of its job connecting the living tree-tissue to the atmosphere for gas exchange.

And the long-legged blue heron was spotted keeping watch in its pond again.  Be amazed. We are immersed in the marvel, mystery and magic of Nature.  💚 Peace
