Tree-hug on September 10

This young tree got my attention with it's tuning-fork-like shape.

On closer viewing it appeared to be more a shaggy tree-creature with a rather unusual hairstyle.  If you look closely you'll see a large millipede climbing up it's face. That would make my hair raise up too !!!

Then I noticed this perturbed-looking tree-fellow looking right at me. His bent arm holding somethin up.  I thought maybe an umbrella would be nice, as it was starting to rain.

But when I noticed the milky quartz tree-tooth embedded into the root below him I figured he was on the way to the dentist.
