Tree-hug on October 19

A beautiful fall tree-hug this morning.

The view looking to the top of this tree-friend was breathtaking.  When I think about the time this magnificent tree has been growing it boggles my mind.  

I am in awe not only of its beauty and sheer size, but the intricacy of its life functions. Its importance in my very existence humbles me.

So complex and yet so simple.  A solitary red oak leaf called out for my attention.

Our tree-friends show us every day, when we take the time to be present with them, how blessed we are by the elements.  

Message:  Love the trees.  Protect nature as best you can.

A different tree with another message.  Even when the tree no longer lives, as we knew it, it continues to provide sustenance.
