Tree-Hug on October 13

We met a forest ranger in the woods today. He was doing a survey of the trees.  They are determining what will help the woods stay healthy. That includes logging to open the canopy up for younger trees to get more light.  

He said our grandchildren will reap the benefits.  Trees grow slow and live long.
