tree-hug on november 16

A chilly tree-hug this morning with a very interesting black birch tree.

It is normal for the outer bark of the black birch (aka sweet birch) to pull away as the tree matures.  Creating a multitude of bark-imaginings. 

 Like these praying bark-beings, their arms outstretched to the light.

And this angel wing bringing a smile and lifting our spirits.

While its weathered and well rooted trunk holds things steady and secure.  Message:  Embrace the transformations of time.  Pray and be touched by the angels.  Drink in deeply the earth, the air and the light.  Peace
