Tree-Hug on August 2

A magical tree-hug in the woods this morning. 

The view looking up was a masterful nature-painting of color, light and line.

A happy pointy headed rock-being rested on the shaded side.

Nearby, what looked like a mummy growing on a Sugar Maple is Northern tooth fungus. Sadly it is parasitic and not good for the tree. Nature teaches us many lesson. 💚 Peace
