My morning trek brought me to a snowy sugar-coated-maple tree-hug. A full-bodied tree-man wore his snow-scarf stylishly around his thick trunk-neck. A couple of centaur tree-beings pranced gleefully in the upper-snow. While a more traditional tree-couple ballroom-danced in their snow-studded attire. A sleepy-eyed trunk-being woke up just enough to get his picture taken. Further down the path softly-sculpted snow-toes dipped into the almost frozen stream. Message: Celebrate the season. Do your dance. Dip your toes into winter's wonders. Peace

My snowshoes came out again for this morning's after-the-storm tree-hug. We had over 20 inches. For someone that wanted to see how trees wear the snow, I'd say I hit the jackpot! A softly draped snow-sleeve amidst the snow-domes. A snow-bear cub scurried up the bark-trail. A golden-robed branch-being sang the praises of the snow to her attentive congregation. A loving tree-mom cradled her precious snow-baby.. Message: Witness the beauty and charm of nature. It is all around us. Take the time. Nurture being still in its presence. Peace
A tree-hug by our house this morning. This young tree-beauty welcomed me and the snow with open tree-arms. How beautifully she wore the snow in her diamond-shaped furrows. Her gentle tree-spirit encouraged me to come back to visit soon. Maybe tomorrow. Message: Stay safe in the storm. Friends, trees and all the creatures of the woods. Peace
