2015 - completed 2-year ministerial program at Fellowships of the Spirit, Lily Dale, NY. At the School of Healing and Prophecy  I deepened my working knowledge of metaphysics, healing, mediumship and service. Received titles of Ordained Minister and Certified Metaphysician.

2012 - Meditation studies with Bhante Wimala at Omega Institute

2011 -  Ordained Metaphysical Minister through the University of Metaphysics. Incorporating metaphysical concepts and practices into my healing work and teaching is ongoing.

2007-2010 -  Studies in Spiritism.  I spent nine weeks in Brazil exploring the spiritual healing work being done at a variety of Spiritist centers in central Brazil.  

2008 -  Certification in Somatic Healing, with David Quigley, founder of the Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis in Santa Rosa, California: http://www.alchemyinstitute.com/. Somatic Healing addresses the deep connections between the mind and body.

2001 -  Professional training in Past Life Regression with Dr. Brian Weiss, author of Many Lives, Many Masters, http://brianweiss.com/.

1999 -  Certified Hypnotherapist. Graduate of the Hypnotherapy Training Institute of Northern California
(http://www.hypnotherapy.com/) studied with Randal Churchill (author of Regression Hypnotherapy and Become the Dream) and Ormand McGill. HTI is a California State Licensed School and it's diplomas are authorized by the State of California. My level of training is Clinical Hypnotherapist. Certification through the National Guild of Hypnotists https://ngh.net/, with the title of Certified Consulting Hypnotist.  I am not licensed as a social worker, psychologist or other mental health therapist.

1999 -  attuned as Reiki Master/Teacher. In addition to providing personal healing sessions, I have conducted Reiki Healing Workshops and hosted monthly Reiki Healing Circles for practitioners since 1999.  In 2010 I started bringing Reiki out into the community with Reiki Healing Fundraisers for local libraries

1998-99 -  completed training in Polarity Therapy, another form of energy healing.

1997 -  Attuned at levels 1 & 2 as Reiki Healing practitioner.

1990's -   Exploration of Zen meditation with Sensei Helen Harkapsi

1987 -  Astrological studies with Robert Hand  (I began my independent studies in Humanistic Astrology in the mid-1970's)

1978 -  Completed several levels of study in Shiatsu with Wataru Ohashi, beginning my path in Energy Healing. Have made use of Shiatsu with family and friends. I am not licensed as a massage therapist to practice Shiatsu, and do not, however, I do make use of many of the spiritual and energy principles of Shiatsu in my teaching and healing practice.

Academic Degrees and Certificates

Certificate in Alternative and Complementary Healthcare from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY: has
given me a wonderful overview of this field and a sense of validity for the Alternative and Complementary modalities in today's world.

Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Studies: has given me a greater appreciation that people have
different ways of learning. It has helped me to have patience and respect for those I work with. Much of what I do is about sharing information and knowledge, whether it be taking you into a hypnotic trance state, guiding you in knowing how to take better care of yourself or creating and giving an effective and enjoyable workshop or presentation. I am a teacher.

Associates degree in Dietetics: has given me the scientific understanding of how the body works and the
importance of the food we eat to be healthy. This knowledge has been important to clients coming for hypnosis for appetite control.

Associates degree in Electro-mechanical Technology:  It took me a while to appreciate this, but it is relevant in my healing work too, for energy is energy.

Married for 40+ years and the mother of an adult daughter and son.
